Confirmation arrives from Russia: These are conditions under which Serbia will receive gas

Nenad Popovic, the Serbian minister without portfolio in charge of international economic cooperation, said today that he received confirmation in conversation he had in Russia with Minister of Economy Maxim Reshetnikov that Serbia will be paying the most favorable gas price and will have sufficient gas quantities until the end of this year.

Popovic told RTS that Serbia will be buying Russian gas under the best conditions.

"These are technically quite complex conditions, but there as well, Serbia will enjoy the most favorable ones and we are safe this year, and I'm sure we will be in the coming period, that is, in the years to come," the minister said.

Popovic added that Serbia is given such conditions because of the extraordinary relations between Serbia and Russia, as well as between the presidents of our countries, and that we will have the best gas price and, most importantly, sufficient amounts of gas.
