President Vucic: Kosovo is, was, and will be Serbia
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has stated that Kosovo and Metohija is, was and will be Serbia, adding that he has no intention of accepting any kind of recognition of Kosovo (as independent).
Vucic, who is visiting Kazakhstan, was asked by a journalist to comment on former diplomat Nebojsa Vujovic's claim that the head of diplomacy, Marko Djuric, is currently in Washington so that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio can make him familiar him with the documents on the recognition of so-called of Kosovo.
Vucic pointed out that Marko Djuric met Rubio completely by chance and that the meeting was not planned.
"So, he had excellent talks there. I have no intention of accepting any kind of recognition of Kosovo. I am not Nebojsa Vujovic, who would not hesitate to sell any part of the territory of Serbia for the last bottle. I have no intention of discussing Kosovo (status) - not only with Marco Rubio, but not even with St. Peter. Kosovo is Serbia, was and will be, and that's that," Vucic said.
He added that Djuric had good talks in Washington and participated in the AIPAC conference.
"It's important for us to maintain good relations with both the Jewish people and with Israel. We buy a lot from them, many important things, so we will continue to do that. And when you have no arguments, when you have nothing to be proud of, when you have nothing to offer, the only thing left is untruth, lies, and eventually people recognize that," said President Vucic.
