Tragedy in school in Vranje: Teenager dies while playing football

An 18-year-old died on Monday evening, after he fell ill while playing football in the sports hall of the School of Economics in the town of Vranje.

Friends of the family who confirmed the death say that everyone is stunned by the turn of events, and that nobody is aware that the youth suffered from any illness.

The police have not received a report about the case, but are nevertheless taking all measures and actions within their jurisdiction.

Coincidentally, an experienced emergency room doctor was at the venue and immediately provided first aid to the teen, but unfortunately he passed away, even though an ambulance also arrived within a few minutes of the emergency services receiving the call.

An autopsy will reveal the cause of death.
