Prime Minister Djuro Macut and members of his cabinet today laid wreaths at the place where then Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic was assassinated 23 years ago.

Djindjic was assassinated on March 12, 2003, at the entrance to the government building in Belgrade. He was 50 years old.

Djindjic was the first prime minister of Serbia after the fall of the authorities led by Slobodan Milosevic in 2000, and one of the key figures of the October 5 events.
