President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will appear on RTS this evening.

Vucic said earlier that Serbia will speed up its EU path. He also recently presented the national strategy "Serbia 2030" and said that the key question is where we see Serbia in 2030 or 2035.

"And usually our answer in the past has always been: we will be members of the EU. I will speak quite openly and honestly. At this moment, unfortunately, the European Union does not have sufficient capacity to bring significant strategic changes to itself, and that was one of the reasons why I said that it is important to become part of the EU as soon as possible, even if on that smaller scale," said Vucic.

He added that this does not mean that giving up some other goals and full membership, but that "we look at things in a realistic, practical, pragmatic and smart way - that we are part of the single market, that there are no borders, that Schengen rules apply to us."

"With this, we make it easier for citizens, we don't have to have access to large funds. Financially, we are doing well at the moment. Artificial intelligence will be a threat to us for various reasons, apart from the wonderful things it will also bring," said Vucic.
