DELUGE! Cyclone is passing over Serbia, RAIN getting heavier: Here's where 30cm of snow will also fall!

Serbia is currently under the influence of a strong cyclone, whose center is over the Adriatic. During the day, the center of the cyclone will pass over Serbia and bring heavy rain, but also significantly cooler temperatures.

This morning, it is raining across Serbia, while there is light snow on the mountains.

It will rain in Serbia throughout the day.

Heavy rainfall is expected, more than 40 liters of rain per square meter on the stretch from Podrinje through Kolubara, Sumadija, the southern outskirts of Belgrade, Pomoravlje and Podunavlje, to Branicevski District and eastern Serbia.

The snow line will drop from the mountains to the hills during the day.

The rain will continue during the weekend, and it will continue to snow on hills and mountains.

20 to 40 liters of rain are forecast to fall throughout Serbia today and during the weekend, over 70 liters in the areas with the heaviest precipitation.

10 to 30 centimeters of snow will fall on hills and mountains, in some places even more.

Drivers are advised to be very careful and not go on the road without winter equipment.

Citizens are advised to follow information released by state and other competent services and act accordingly.

Colder than average for this time of year weather will continue until the very end of March.
