MORNING AFTER BLOODY RAMPAGE: Police tape, traces of horror in central Belgrade!

The morning after a horrific attack in Savski Venac, central Belgrade - in which a man brutally attacked 47-year-old K.T. - a Telegraf.rs team encountered shocking scenes at the place where the crime was committed.

While the Emergency Center doctors are still fighting to save the life of the unfortunate woman, traces of violence are still visible at every step. Telegraf.rs also learned this morning that the attacker has been arrested and is suspected of aggravated attempted murder.

Blood on pavement and police tape

A large blood stain is still clearly visible at the place where the assailant, without any thus far known reason, pounced on a passer-by. This gruesome scene testifies to the nature of the attack and the amount of blood the victim lost before the ambulance crew arrived.

In addition to the traces of blood, torn police tape is still hanging on the fence and a nearby tree, which secured the area last night while inspectors were investigating.

Silence in Savski Venac

Passers-by this morning are stopping by the scene of the incident in disbelief, and many look away from the bloody sidewalk. The residents of this part of the city are in complete shock, and the silence in the street only increases the feeling of chill.

"We saw the police last night and heard the screams, but we didn't dare to go out. This morning when I left for work, I saw this pool of blood... My heart stopped. It could have been anyone's mother or sister," one of the visibly distressed neighbors told our portal.

Blood-curdling details

The victim, K.T., was admitted to the hospital around midnight last night with multiple stab wounds to the neck, arms and back. According to her, the attacker approached her suddenly and started stabbing her without saying a word, after which he disappeared into the darkness.
