DISTURBING VIDEO FROM SCENE OF TERRIBLE ACCIDENT NEAR RUMA: This is what's left of the car of death

Four people died in a horrific accident that happened on the stretch of the highway between Ruma and Sabac yesterday, while the doctors at the Clinical Center of Serbia are trying to save a young man who survived the crash.

As can be seen in a disturbing video circulating on social networks, one car got crumpled like a can, while the other vehicle crashed into the highway barrier. The video also shows brake marks, as well as glass scattered on the road.

As we reported earlier, the driver of a Ford who was moving on the highway in the wrong direction was killed on the spot when he crashed head-on into a Golf that was traveling in its own lane. A young woman and a young man in the second vehicle also died instantly, while the driver of the Golf passed away in the hospital in Sremska Mitrovica.

Kurir reported that another passenger from the Golf, who was injured, was first taken to the Sabac hospital.

According to unofficial information, the two passengers in the Golf who died were using a ridesharing service and were on their way to Slovenia.

"These are young people, it's a great tragedy. The Golf driver was 24 years old, and both the guy and the girl were also young," said a source.

The tragedy on the Ruma-Sabac highway occurred when the driver of the Ford, deliberately or by mistake, took the wrong exit from the highway, to then proceed to drive wrong-way at 130 kilometers per hour.

Although other drivers who were witnessing this tried to warn him to stop by flashing lights and honking, and videos of the unhinged driving were instantly appearing on social media, the accident eventually occurred close to the Hrtkovci junction.
