President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic says that he will always be on Serbia's side, and that he will try to ensure that Serbia, in the light of increasing international pressure, preserves its policy.

"I cannot know what external circumstances will bring tomorrow, but I will always be on the side of Serbia and I will try to do and achieve the best for our country," Vucic told TV Blic.

Asked how long Serbia can withstand international pressure, Vucic said that he has an ideology which turned out has been strong enough to withstand unprecedented pressure thus far, and that he will try to preserve Serbia's policy.

"If someone says, I don't know, for example - 'we will shut down your life', I will go before the people and say what dangers and threats there are. That's why I have never guaranteed anything in that sense, but also the fact that I don't give guarantees, but I hold firm beliefs, I have the idea, I have an ideology, it has been firm enough to withstand incredible pressure until now. So no, I don't want to guarantee anything to anyone, but we will try to preserve our policy," said Vucic.
