Although this is the last day of April, it was snowing this morning on Mt. Zlatibor, and the intensity of the precipitation is only increasing.

"Rain turned to sleet and then to snow during the night, and now it is properly snowing. It seems that all those forecasts about winter returning in May have been correct," one of the locals told RINA.

The current precipitation has not caused any major traffic problems as the road services are on standby and ready to react in case that is necessary.

Drivers are advised to be extra cautious, since the obligation to use winter equipment is no longer in force.
