AMERIKA CLAN LEADER'S SON KILLED IN BELGRADE: Nikola died in motorcycle accident, these are the details
37-year-old Nikola Miljanic, son of Mileta Miljanic, one of the leaders of the powerful and notorious criminal clan dubbed "Amerika", died yesterday in a serious traffic accident in Barajevo, a suburban Belgrade municipality, Telegraf.rs has learned.
The horrific collision occurred when Miljanic, who was driving a motorcycle, tried to overtake an Opel in a part of the road where this is strictly prohibited. At that moment, the driver of the car started turning left into a parking lot.
The motorcycle crashed into the rear left part of the Opel with great force, which left Miljanic with life-threatening injuries.
Attempt to save him at VMA
The injured man was urgently transported to the VMA clinic in Belgrade. Despite the efforts of the doctors that lasted for hours, Miljanic died from his injuries.
The investigation revealed the following details: Miljanic was driving the motorcycle without the appropriate license.
At the time of the accident, he was wearing a helmet.
A breathalyzer test determined that the Opel driver was not under the influence of alcohol.
The body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.
Who is Mileta Miljanic?
The father of the victim, Mileta Miljanic, has for years been mentioned in media and police reports as the leader of the Amerika Clan, one of the oldest and most powerful criminal organizations in this region, which spread its operations from the Balkans to South and North America.
