Kilometers-long column of vehicles forms on highway, horrific traffic jam after truck overturns near Novi Sad

A massive traffic jam has formed on the highway stretch between the towns of Novi Sad and Subotica in northern Serbia, between the interchanges Vrbas and Sirig.

There was a kilometers-long column of vehicles on Wednesday morning after a truck crashed and then overturned.

"There has been a collapse of traffic on this section, kilometers-long column of vehicles formed. However, now the traffic has started to move slowly, but there is still a massive traffic jam," one of the drivers stuck there told RINA around noon.

The police are diverting traffic as they investigate the scene.

As of the time of this reporting, is not known whether there are any casualties.
