Looks like END OF THE WORLD! Is this the SCARIEST PHOTO of a supercell storm in Serbia
When you see this, you will probably agree that it is, if not the scariest, then certainly one of the scariest images of a supercell storm in Serbia. Images caputring a storm that hit Serbia on June 14 have appeared on social networks, and are completely breathtaking.
At first glance it looks like an artist created an unreal photo and to show the ideal moment. However, this hides the story that followed - a supercell storm which ravaged an area in Serbia, with hailstones up to 4 centimeters in diameter destroying farmers' crops, the wind breaking tree branches, and black clouds covering our land.
The author captured the moment when the clouds "gather" above the town of Stara Moravica near Backa Topola, in northern Serbia, and then as they "go on the attack". Light is seen on one side, darkness on the other.
The next day, expert reports arrived, stating that the hailstorm caused the greatest damage to farms in the areas of Backa Topola and Backa Palanka - despite the 677 anti-hail missiles fired into the clouds.
The photos and videos were published on the "nevremeteam" Instagram account.
