Vucic shows "ballot" for June 27 rally: "It is up to us to preserve peace and show patience"

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today posted a video on his Instagram account where he showed what a "ballot" that the citizens will be able to use to pick Serbia's most important development goals, as they attend a large rally planned for June 27.

"Dear people, there is a lot of nervousness among those who tried to undermine our state. There is nothing they wouldn't do to prove that everything they lied about was actually true. All the same, the lies collapse like a house of cards, one after another. It's up to us only to preserve peace, tolerance, and show patience," said Vucic.

He stressed the importance of this ballot.

"I got something here that is very important. The ballot is not a real election ballot, but it's a very important ballot. On the 27th, all people who come to the rally will have the opportunity to receive a paper like this, that will list 15 important topics, and each person will have the right to circle five. And to say that these are the most important things they would like from the state. From greater concern for people, preserving peace and stability, fighting for Kosovo and Metohija, improving healthcare services, better education, to increasing pensions, reducing prices of medicines, energy security, greater investments in culture, ecology and so on," he said.

Vucic added that, on the other hand, it will also be possible to present remarks and suggestions.

"And now I will present my remarks, and expectations from both myself, but also from others, and say what it is that we must change. How much I ask that we fight against arrogance, what to do against arrogance, how to better take care of people. The 'Ko si bre ti' ('Who the hell are you') portal will be launched next week, and you will be able to use it to point out to problems caused by arrogant individuals in local and state level governance, at a city level, at every other level," said Vicoc and concluded:

"Thank you for the huge support, thank you for coming to the plateau in front of the National Assembly on the 27th, thank you for all the love and support, and as you know - Truth and Serbia always win."
