President Serbia Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday spoke briefly with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. Their encounter took place in Kyiv, during the fifth Ukraine-Southeastern Europe Summit.

"I spoke with the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, about Serbia's European path and the next steps in the process of European integration. I thanked her for her personal commitment and support she provides to Serbia on its European path, with the belief that we will continue to improve cooperation with the European Union through open dialogue and a responsible approach," Vucic stated in a post on Instagram.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was in Ukraine yesterday where he represent Serbia at the summit.
