In a movie-like operation targeting organized crime, operatives from the Novi Sad police administration dealt a historic blow to narco mafia and completely dismantled a dangerous criminal network, Telegraf.rs has learned.

In a highly coordinated operation carried out in Belgrade, police officers arrested three people and seized a total of 85 kilograms of pure narcotics, whose illegal market value is estimated at over 2 million euros.

Searches and arrests

The swift operation resulted in the Novi Sad operatives removing extremely dangerous amounts of drugs from the streets. During the search and arrests, the police confiscated:

15 kilograms of cocaine of highest purity

70 kilograms of marijuana

Encrypted phones used for secret communication

A cargo vehicle specially equipped for smuggling.

Triumph of reformed administration and new chief

This huge success is a direct consequence of the massive changes at the top of the Novi Sad police. With the arrival of the new chief, Vladan Stojanovic, a radical and fundamental reorganization of the entire administration was launched.

Stojanovic set new work standards, redistributed resources to key places and created a modern and fast striking fist in the fight against crime. This major reform is still in full swing, and the results on the ground show that it has been a success.
