A powerful explosion rang out this morning around 03:00 in the Belgrade neighborhood of Zvezdara, when an unknown person threw an explosive device, Telegraf.rs has learned.
According to initial information from the scene, it was most likely an M-75 hand grenade.
Was he a target before?
At the scene of the incident, the police interviewed A.O. (24), a resident in the building in front of which the explosion took place, who has a police record and was convicted in the past.
He told the police that he suspected the device was intended to harm him and that it was thrown directly onto his balcony. According to A.O., the device bounced off and fell onto the sidewalk between parked cars, where it exploded.
We have learned that the young man also stated that his car was set on fire only a month ago, which is why he believes that he has been targeted again by the same attackers.

In addition to the three damaged vehicles, windows on nearby stores cracked, while damage is also visible on the facade of the building, as well as on the entrance door to a neighboring building.
