Weather to cool in Serbia, temperatures dropping! These parts of the country will feel it first
The heatwave continues in Serbia. Maximum temperatures will go up to 37 degrees today. However, a slight cooling is coming soon.
It will be even hotter tomorrow. Maximum temperatures will range from 35 to 39 degrees Celsius, locally up to 40 degrees. During the evening and night in the northern parts of Serbia, first in the province of Vojvodina, a very weakened cold front is expected to penetrate, along with a strong northwest wind, but it will remain mostly dry. Only in some parts of Vojvodina, less frequent occurrence of showers with thunder is forecast, but the precipitation will be of a very local and isolated character.
On Wednesday, it will be 5 degrees lower in the north and west of Serbia and maximum temperatures will not exceed 32-33°C, while the cold front will be least felt in the south and east of Serbia, where maximums temperature will remain at 35 degrees.
It will be most pleasant on Thursday, when a slightly fresher air mass from the north will reach the south, and the maximum temperatures will range from 30 to 33°C.
It will get warmer again on Friday and during the weekend.
Unfortunatelly, according to current forecasts, there is no significant cooling in sight, and a serious precipitation deficit will continue, with very dry weather.
This situation already greatly affects the rivers, but also the breakouts of wildfires.
