Yet another HEATWAVE is about to hit Serbia! It will be up to 40 degrees, HERE is when and where
This Wednesday brings a break from the heat, as the weather in Serbia will be more pleasant today as well as tomorrow compared to previous weeks. This will last until the end of the week, and it will be especially pleasant at night and in the mornings.
Maximum temperatures tomorrow will range from 28 to 32 degrees Celsius, on Friday around 30°C, and on Saturday a few degrees above 30°C.
It will get warmer already on Sunday, with temperatures rising to 31 to 35°C.
According to current forecasts, a new heatwave is expected in Serbia next week.
Transient clouds and local showers and thunderstorms are expected only on Tuesday afternoon and in the early hours of the morning next Wednesday.
Maximum temperatures will be above 35 degrees, and it will be the hottest in the southeast of Serbia, up to 40 degrees.
The upcoming heatwave will peak around August 20.
Nights when the temperature never drops below 20 degrees are again expected in the northern province of Vojvodina and in Belgrade, while in other parts of Serbia, nights and mornings will be fresh.
When it comes to the long-term forecast, there is no sign of a significant cooling or precipitation over the next ten days.
Unfortunately, the serious precipitation deficit will continue, and the drought will have a more than unfavorable effect on the rivers and their water level, as well as on the fact that the vegetation will be even drier, which will further increase the risk of wildfires.
