President Vucic visits brutally beaten Kosovo Serb Nenad Raskovic

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has visited Nenad Raskovic at the Clinical Center of Serbia in Belgrade. Earlier this week members of the so-called Kosovo police brutally assaulted and injured Raskovic in his home in the village of Dren in northern Kosovo and Metohija.

"I visited Nenad Raskovic at the Clinical Center of Serbia, who was beaten almost to death by Albin Kurti's police, for no apparent reason. The injuries were more severe than we expected, as he learned that another of his ribs was also broken from the force of the blows dealt to him by the Albanian beaters, he only asked us to organize the arrival of the family (to Belgrade) and to tell his brother to take care of the cattle that he usually takes care of."

"I just told him that the whole of Serbia loves him endlessly," President Vucic stated.

Nenad Raskovic from the village of Dren in the municipality of Zubin Potok was transported on Wednesday from KBC Kosovska Mitrovica to the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center of Serbia.

On Tuesday he said that three policemen dragged him out of the family house, after which they tied him to a tree and started beating him, demanding that he surrenders a weapon which he never had in his possession.

Director of KBC Kosovska Mitrovica Zlatan Elek said earlier that Raskovic suffered head contusion, injuries to the front and back of the chest, along with hematomas, a fracture of the ninth rib, and elevated blood pressure and extreme psychological trauma.
