Prime Minister of Serbia Djuro Macut met today with Minister of Local Self-Government and leader of the Democratic Party of Serbs in North Macedonia Ivan Stoilkovic.

During the meeting, they discussed the position of the Serb community in North Macedonia, the preservation of national identity, language, culture and tradition, as well as the importance of further strengthening the ties between the Serb people in the region with their motherland.

The interlocutors agreed that stability, dialogue and good relations between Serbia and North Macedonia are of great importance for the entire region, as well as that there is room for further improvement of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Prime Minister Macut pointed out that Serbia will continue to support its people wherever they live, at the same time building a good neighborly policy, cooperation and peace.
