Is this for real? RHMZ announces that long heatwave in Serbia is set to continue
The Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia (RHMZ) published on its official website a weather forecast for the coming days, but also how long the current heatwave will last in our country.
Today, it will be mostly sunny with some clouds in Serbia, and brief showers in some areas in the southwest, south and southeast. The wind will be weak to moderate, northwesterly. The highest temperature will range from 29 to 34 degrees Celsius.
In the coming days, according to RHMZ, it will be mostly sunny and warm. Until Saturday the temperatures in most places will range between 30 to 33 degrees. Then, during the weekend and at the beginning of next week it will be very warm again, with the highs hovering around 35 degrees.
Short lasting rain and showers will be possible in some places only on Wednesday, in the southwest and south of the country.
RHMZ also warned that as the period of an average low amount of precipitation and high temperatures continues, there is a pronounced risk of wildfires.
