20 wildfires are currently active in Serbia, and are located on the Stolovi and Goc mountains.

Members of the Emergency Situations Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) have localized the fires that broke out on these mountains, and there were have been no casualties there, RTS reported.

The fire on Stolovi broke out on August 5, with 300 firefighters and rescuers taking part in extinguishing it.

On the ground were firefighters from Kraljevo, Uzice, Prijepolje, Nis, Cacak, Krusevac, Novi Pazar, Kragujevac, members of the Helicopter Unit of the Serbian Army, international helicopter teams from Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, dozens of members of volunteer fire brigades.

Workers from public companies Srbijasume, JKP Vodovod, police officers, members of the Organization for Search and Rescue, workers from Corridors of Serbia, Serbian-Russian Humanitarian Center, as well as citizens, also took part in these efforts.
