Ratko Mladic is being laid to rest this afternoon in the Topcider cemetery in Belgrade, next to his daughter Ana Mladic.

As can be seen in the photos taken by a Telegraf reporter at the scene, thousands of people gathered at the cemetery, and in its vicinity. Due to the size of the crowd, a large number of citizens did not manage to enter the cemetery, so they lined the surrounding streets.

These were the scenes from the Topcider cemetery earlier in the afternoon.

The funeral procession moved along Kneza Viseslava Street, completely blocking traffic. Long lines of vehicles and citizens were moving from Kosutnjak to the cemetery.

Hundreds of people who were already at the gravesite were silently waiting for the arrival of the procession, while the ceremony proceeded with difficulty due to the large number of people who gathered.
