President Vucic: I will resign immediately after returning from New York, and campaign as an ordinary citizen

"Immediately after my return from New York, I will submit my resignation, on the 25th or 26th, and I will campaign as an ordinary citizen," Aleksandar Vucic announced on Friday, speaking at the Palace of Serbia.

"The law does not oblate me to do so, but it is my wish," he added.

Otherwise, the president analyzed new measures to improve the standard of living of citizens, spoke about energy and the increase in wages in the public sector.

Vucic announced that everyone in the public sector will have higher salaries from December 1, while a 7.5 percent increase in pensions is also coming.
