Vucic: Strategic partnership between Serbia and China transcends every office, term and time

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic attended a reception in Belgrade last evening on the occasion of the National Day of the People's Republic of China and stated that this was the last day of his presidential mandate, but that the strategic partnership and brotherhood between our peoples transcends any office, term, and time.

"It is a bond that remains permanent and unbreakable, and which we will continue to nurture in the future. It is an honor for me to attend the reception on the occasion of the National Day of the People's Republic of China, a country that lent a hand to Serbia when it was most difficult and with which we have built an ironclad friendship over the years," Vucic stated in a post on Instagram.

He added that he remembers with deep respect his visits to China, as well as the historic arrivals of President Xi Jinping in Serbia, and that he proudly points out his gratitude to Chinese companies in every place, where, with their work and investments, they helped build a new, modern face of Serbia.

"I congratulate President Xi Jinping and the Chinese people on this great holiday, I am convinced that our friendship and strategic partnership will gain real momentum in the years to come," said Vucic.
