Members of the Army of Serbia traveled to Russia where they will take part in the Marching Parade through Red Square on May 9th and fascinate Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, and their selfie from the plane became an internet sensation on social media networks!

Guards - the pride of the Serbian military, 75 of them, including two women, are going to march the 280 meters of the Red Square in Moscow, and show the world their skills.

In light of their trip to Moscow, they made a selfie with three fingers raised and sent a message to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin that they are coming prepared. Soon enough, this image became an internet sensation.

The Serbian Army Chief of Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic and Russian Ambassador Alexander Chepurin escorted the unit Guard from Batajnica's military airport, who are set to March in Moscow's Red Square parade on May 9th, in honor of the victory over fascism in the Second World War.

Serbian Army Chief General Dikovic said goodbye to the soldiers who were travelling to Moscow and wished them a peaceful flight and to successfully represent the Army of Serbia.

Among the soldiers who will represent the Army of Serbia at the parade in Moscow are two women, including Lieutenant Aleksandra Misic, who pointed out that it is a great honor that she will represent our country at the meeting in Russia.

In recent history, the Army of Serbia participated in military parades in Libya and France, and in Russia, the Guard will show women guards for the first time ever.

Besides the 75 guardsmen, members of the Army, Air Force and Air Defense and the Training Command commander of the Guard Battalion Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Vukajlovic as the head, will all be headed to Russia.
