With this, the promise is fulfilled of three years ago that in Belgrade, monument will rise like the one in Warden cliff near New York as the symbol of scientist who connects Serbian origins and American vision.

"Identical monuments we rise in honor of the greatest genius that was fed by Serbian mother and gave to human kind", said Nikolic.

Tesla's ideas were greater than the time he lived in, from everything that science created and applied so far, said the president of Serbia.

"He was a man of the future, so we should not and must not speak differently about him but only as our contemporary, who will be our contemporary with generations to come. In this moment, Tesla is ever present with his inventions. like air", said Nikolic.

Born Serbian, died American, Tesla became another important historical knot and should connect the faiths and the friendship of our states and peoples.

"His guidelines are Serbian people who's member he was and the American state which developed his scientific potentials, and in the end, Tesla indebted the whole human kind - Serbian and America, and not Serbian and American, but citizen of the world, a member of a new state that is one of its own", said Nikolic.

Tesla's world, lit up world of the equals, that we haven't created yet, and that's the only thing he wanted from the human kind, pointed out Nikolic.

As he said, from a little boy from Smiljane, grew up by the side of his priest father of the Serbian orthodox church, and the mother that "put him to sleep and woke up with the most beautiful folk songs about battle at Kosovo", it was expected that he inherit the rectory, not to become the most famous scientist in the history of humanity and the inventor. We owe our quick civilized pace to his genius.

By creating, Tesla gave humanity one more dimension that almost no one speaks of - new philosophy of living, new understanding of human capacities, new social developing, of states, of the world - new and at the time unknown possibility to create everyday life in a different way, said Nikolic.

"As much as he lit up the planet, he lit up each and every man... Tesla remained outside his and our time, man who could, and never became greedy, he only found in his love for people the motivation and courage to deal with missunderstanding", said Nikolic.

Tesla's contribution is in pair with mythical proportions, and the Tesla himself is in mythical dimension and became Prometheus of the modern age, said Nikolic.

"Chained with ignorance and unacceptable of scientific environment, like Prometheus for Kavkaz, he believed in his thought and that he will be recognized in the far future, in all his glory/ He refused the Nobel prize. He died quietly in his humble hotel room", said Nikolic.
