- Immigration is one of the most serious problems facing the European Union today - said Sijarto at a press conference.
Sijarto said that EU countries are seeking a solution, but that Hungary "can not afford to wait," relayed the Reuters news agency.
- We are talking about a border of 175 kilometers, which can be physically closed by fences of four metres. The Minister of Internal Affairs was instructed to prepare this - he added.
Preparations should be completed by next Wednesday, said Sijarto, reports the Hungarian MTI agency.
