Six grade pupil of the elementary school "Stari Grad" from Belgrade, Tara Stankovic (12) has won first prize in the international competition of the Shakespeare foundation in his hometown Stratford, and her work on the subject "Make a welcoming note for Shakespeare's home" was marked as the most beautiful one in the international category.

In the year when around the world the celebrations are held for the great anniversary400 years from the death of William Shakespeareshe applied for the contest and send her work completed from the fabric and paper, edged with gold thread.

Foundation that deals with protection of the image and the works of the famous bard, has chosen Tara's work among 200 from all over the world, and it will adorn the entrance to the department store of the most famous and the most played world drama writer.

- Tara's work takes your breath away with its beauty - wrote the foundation, which named her work the best withing the international category for the 16 year old children.

As a reward, this pupil from Belgrade will receive the package of Shakespeare works, and the invitation to be the guest with her family in the opening of Shakespeare's house - museum in Stratford.

On that occasion, a special exhibit will be opened where Tara's note will be displayed on special place. 

William Shakespeare passed away 400 years ago in Stratford on the Avon river, the city where he was born in and which found its place in the world cultural history maps.

Shakespeare's death anniversary is marked in this year, in Great Britain, and in the entire world.
