Wrong. You don't know what you are talking about - was Grenell's message

US president's special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Richard Grenell told British journalist Tim Judah that he "doesn't not know what he is talking about" - after Judah tweeted that "Trump people would like to move quickly to a grand deal" - but Hashim Thaci as "a lame duck president" represents a problem to solving the Kosovo issue in this way.

Judah also wrote that "we could be approaching a crunch point" in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina after yesterday's meeting in Washington DC between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Thaci.

This was followed by a response from Grenell, the US president's special envoy for the dialogue, who's message for Judah was, "Wrong. You don't know what you are talking about. No one is trying to move quickly and there is no grand deal. You are making stuff up."

According to Judah, the deal would mean "no Serbian recognition of Kosovo, but Serbia would not prevent (Kosovo's) UN accession."

"And if that is the case then it is not expected Russia (or China) would veto. Not sure that would help with Vucic's election campaign but still," he tweeted.

Judah also wrote that Thaci "cannot deliver anything unless he can lure the LDK (Albin Kurti's coalition partner) to jump ship" and bring down Kurti's government.
