Minister of Foreign Affairs of so-called Kosovo Meliza Haradinaj Stubla said that representatives of the central institutions in Pristina should not participate in the dialogue with Belgrade, until the Serbian authorities withdraw the arrest warrants for members of the former Kosovo Liberation Army, issued through Interpol.

"Serbia, as an aggressive party, which did not apologize and did not bring to justice war criminals who killed, massacred, raped, destroyed and stole, should not have the opportunity to sit at the dialogue table, while at the same time updating political arrest warrants against liberation fighters and who defended their doorstep," Haradinaj Stubla told the Pristina media.

Former KLA regional commander Shukri Buja joined Meljiza Haradinaj, saying the dialogue was meaningless unless Belgrade stopped its diplomatic attacks.

Buja says local institutions should ask countries that have recognized Kosovo's independence not to recognize the Interpol list to prosecute members of the former KLA.

Pristina security analyst Nuredin Ibishi believes that "the persecution of former KLA members comes as a result of the inefficiency of Kosovo institutions", which, according to him, have for several years now failed to make sure Kosovo joined Inteprol.
