Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade seized more than five kilograms of heroin in an extensive operation, arresting L.B. (32), N. L. (33) and N.M. (24) on suspicion of illegal production and distribution of narcotics.

As they checked the suspects' IDs in a restaurant in Vozdovac, Belgrade, the police discovered that an international arrest warrant had been issued for L.B.

They then searched a Golf vehicle used by N.L. and N.M. to find about 150 grams of heroin and about 300 grams of a mixture used to add weight to narcotics.

In house near Sopot where N.M. and L.B. were staying without being registered, in a hiding place that opens electronically and is built into a wall, the police found about five kilograms of heroin, about 18 kilograms of the sameweight-adding mixture, two revolvers, a pistol and a Skorpion gun with a silencer, 10 cubes of plastic explosives weighing one kilogram, 126 pieces of ammunition of various calibers, three presses, a vacuuming device, and a larger amount of money.
