Caba Der got caught after he killed an innocent man: This is the "smiling killer"

Serbia was horrified that January 5, 2019, as it watched a hitman shoot Nebojsa Markovic in the head

The public in Serbia became aware of him after January 5, 2019, when he approached Nebojsa Markovic in Rajko od Rasine Street in Banovo Brdo in Belgrade, and fired several shots at him.

According to the media, Nebojsa was killed by mistake because Caba Der (Hungarian: Csaba Der) mistook him for Aleksandar Sarac, who was previously wounded at the Usce shopping center and later died from his injuries. Nebojsa Markovic was the brother-in-law of Sarac.

Der is on trial for this crime in absentia before the Higher Court in Belgrade. After fleeing Serbia, Der was arrested in Prague in early March 2019, from where he was extradited to Hungary. He is wanted in several countries where proceedings have been conducted against him, and as things stand now, he will not be released from prison for a long time.

Caba Der comes from Cantavir, near Subotica, in northern Serbia. He started out as a petty thief, and was, according to media reports, turned into a hitman while serving time at the Sremska Mitrovica Penitentiary.
