Serbian President Vucic sends letter of condolences to Xi Jinping

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has sent a letter of condolences to President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping after the crash of a passenger plane in the south of China.

"The news of the tragedy made us very sad and in these difficult moments our thoughts are with the Chinese people," wrote Vucic.

"Please convey the condolences to the families of passengers and crew members who perished. Although I am convinced that the Chinese leadership will help those who lost their loved ones in the accident, their friends from Serbia are sending them support in finding the strength to face the irreparable loss," reads the letter of condolence from Vucic, the president's press service said.
