President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic today sent a Christmas greeting to the Catholic Archbishop of Belgrade Ladislav Nemet and to all Christian believers who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar.

The message reads:

"Your Excellence,

I sincerely congratulate you on Christmas and the New Year 2023. In the light of the Feast of the Nativity of Christ, which permanently symbolizes Christian values of peace, cooperation and full mutual respect, I wish that love and wisdom, for the good of all our citizens, generously inspire you in serving and facing the challenges of today.

Just like in the years that are behind us, you will have a benevolent and reliable partner in the Republic of Serbia and its state bodies in dialogue and in the processes of further building a harmonious and just society.

I wish you good health and success in your noble service in the New Year."
