China reacts to protests in Serbia

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning has said that Beijing has always supported the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.

In response to a journalist, she added and that Serbia has enough wisdom and capability to keep its society stable and continue development.
"China noted the media reports. In recent years, under the leadership of President Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia has upheld its independence and achieved remarkable progress in socioeconomic development. China always respects Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity," said Mao.
She added that Beijing supports Serbia in preserving stability and efforts to develop the country.
