Von der Leyen continues Western Balkans tour in Montenegro and BiH, to arrive in Belgrade on Wednesday
President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen continues her visit to the Western Balkans today with meetings in Montenegro and in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
As announced by the European Commission, she will speak with President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Djuro Macuta in Belgrade on Wednesday.
Von der Leyen started her regional tour on Monday with a visit to Albania and Montenegro, where today she will participate in the conference "Smart growth, green future: accelerating investments in Montenegro", the European Commission announced.
After that, she will travel to Sarajevo and meet with members of the BiH Presidency, as well as with President of the Council of Ministers Borjana Kristo.
Von der Leyen will also visit Pristina on Wednesday, where she will meet with representatives of the provisional institutions.
The European Commission president will end her visit to the Western Balkans by traveling to North Macedonia on Wednesday and meeting with the president, the prime minister, and the parliament speaker.
