To obtain a visa , you need an invitation from a company or business partner from Switzerland, that is faxed to the embassy.

The submission of a request costs 36 euros in cash, and the money is not refundable if the visa application is refused . From countries outside the EU, the Switzerland labor market accepts only a limited number of workers, and only if their skills are urgently required and if they are well qualified.

Depending on the canton, which is responsible for assessing the request , the request shall be submitted to the migration agency of the given canton.  Requests approved by the Canton are surrendered over to the Federal Office for Migration for final approval . To obtain a working visa, a few more months will be necessary.
