The Police Director of the Republic of Srpska Gojko Vasic, confirmed today in Banja Luka that there is progress in the investigation of the entity police in determining who took part in the attack on Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on July 11th in Potocari.

Vasic said he identified a dozen new people that he can confidently say took part in the attack.

Vasic said that the investigation into the attack on Vucic is lead by the supervision of the Special Prosecutor's Office of RS, and will exchange information with colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, in order to, in his words, determine who was involved in the attempted murder and incentive to murder Vucic.

- Every day there is progress and all investigations are working with the prosecutor - said the director of the RS police.

Vasic confirmed that the RS Police have not yet requested help from the media in identifying persons who participated in the attack on the Serbian prime minister.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS, previously submitted reports to the Special Prosecutor's Office against an "Anonymoous Person" for the attempted murder and incentive to murder Aleksandar Vucic on July 11, after the commemoration of the genocide victims.

Once they determine the identity of the attacker, a criminal complaint will be filed against the perpetrators.
