The airport in the city of Zagreb got a new name - "Franjo Tudjman", after the first president of Croatia.

Croatian airport was given in concession to a French firm ZAIC which is planing to make another terminal, with the name they choose.

Co-owners of the airport which previously bore the name "Pleso", are the Republic of Croatia with 55%, city of Zagreb with 35%, the county with 5% and the city of Velika Gorica with 5%.
