New medal harvest, this time on the senior open European championship, added more positive impulse to the Serbian queen of sports which reaches sky high.
- It is my pleasure to say that this has been the most successful championship in the history of the federation. From 11 finals and two medals.
- We could have gotten more medals, but the finals are great results - split hair results decide there - said Veselin Jevrosimovic, who wanted to specially point out the single disciplines, where we did not have much success in previous years.
- I want to mention that we did not have a long jumper since Nenad Stekic (Lazar Antic), and that we did not have the athlete for 400 meters in the final (Tamara Salasli), as well on 110 meters hurdles, who has eight result in the qualifications (Milan Ristic) - concluded Jevrosimovic in the offices of the athletic hall in Belgrade.
