Ilic carries brushes with different colors, while the robot rotates on large canvases, using him as a brush for painting.

While this video may seem like interesting collaboration between man and machine to amateurs, the artist's intention was to show how a man increasingly relies on the machine and how art is not something that depends solely on the people.

Dragan Ilic, artist from New York with Yugoslavian origins, uses a pen through his thirty year long artistic creativity, but not only as means of leaving trace on the paper, but also as building material for his sculptures, usable material of action and performance (sometimes with 50.000 pencils), multimedia projects and video installations, as additions to the robots. Ever since 1975 when the intuitively took handful of pencils and began to draw with them, achieving the effect of parallel lines, Ilic left the classic drawing. For his special drawing technique he constructed a special device - holders for pens, different sizes and shapes, like a machine. In this way, he came up with the idea of its robots drawings.
