Russian arrested at Batrovci with 2 kilos of cocaine and sacks of money hidden in his Mercedes
The drugs were hidden in a partition behind the back seat
Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Organized Crime Service, seized more than two kilograms of cocaine at the Batrovci border crossing and arrested 54-year-old V.S., a citizen of the Russian Federation, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illicit manufacturing and trafficking of narcotics.
A search of a Mercedes car revealed two packages containing cocaine weighing more than 2.2 kilograms, as well as two bags containing a total of 14,800 euros.
The suspect has been detained for up to 48 hours and will be, along with a criminal complaint, brought before the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Sremska Mitrovica.
