Horror in Vrsac: Blood and ashes after man kills woman, sets house on fire, and hangs himself

The police have found the body of a female person in a family home in the village of Veliko Srediste near Vrsac, and the body of a hanged man in an auxiliary building, RTS has learned unofficially.

It is suspected that the man killed his partner with a knife, then set the house on fire before committing suicide by hanging.

Video footage shows traces of blood and a house destroyed by fire. The furniture and clothing are scattered and the walls black with soot.

RTS has received confirmation from the police that two people were found dead at around 10 pm last night.

Autopsies have been ordered by the prosecution to determine the cause of death.

There is no confirmation as to whether this was a married couple, as it is assumed, or if they were in a common-law marriage.
