Angry Asian department store workers in Temerin send a message: "Not all Chinese have the virus!!!"

Amid fears over the spread of coronavirus, the owners of Azijska Robna Kuca ("Asian department store") in Temerin cheered up several thousand people with a message on Facebook angrily explaining that they are right as rain.

Clearly feeling indignant because of the fear that prevails in Serbia, they angrily announced what's obvious - that the virus is in China, whereas they are Chinese people from Serbia.

The Facebook post, written in broken Serbian, translates as, "What is it we want to say? Well, we don’t have the VIRUS!!!! And not all Chinese have the virus!!! Because the virus started in January 2020, and we haven’t been to China since last year. So the Asian Department Store is healthy, finally, please be a smart person, don't just listen to stupid news, thanks everybody!!"

Amid the health scare, both their anger and their Serbian gave Facebook users a chuckle; they couldn't help but feel for these Temerin residents, who are through no fault of their own suffering a kind of discrimination and a downturn in their business due to something happening in another part of the world.

However, as the death toll from coronaviruses has gone up to 106, the fear of those who don't know when this disease might be brought under control is also justified.
