The murder of the Bllaca family in Gjilane is one of the "biggest crimes that happened in Kosovo," according to the Pristina-based Gazeta Express, which brings details of this family tragedy.

Valdete Bllaca, 45, a policewoman who should not have been carrying a weapon, killed one of her brothers in his sleep, while she took the lives of another brother, and her mother and father in other parts of the house, before killing herself. She fired at least two bullets at each victim.

Although the details of these murders are covered in a veil of mystery, it's known that everyone was killed from the same weapon used by the policewoman and that effectively a victim was found in every corner of the house.

One of the brothers was killed in his sleep on the second floor of the family home. The other brother was found dead in the hall. There was blood all over the house...

Valdete continued her bloody feast in the living room, where she killed her father (70), shooting her mother (64) in the kitchen.

Valdete didn't kill herself immediately. For several hours, she watched the lifeless bodies, and finally took her own life behind the front door of the house.
