While Serbia and her people are facing major challenges preventing and controlling the epidemic, China will not sit idly by and is instead sending medical supplies such as respirators, testing kits, masks, medical protective outfits, says Chen Bo.
In an interview for today's issue of the Politika daily, Chen Bo said China would send medical supplies and equipment to Serbia, including ventilators, but also testing kits for virus detection, and masks and protective medical outfits.
"This material is now being collected in China and our medical experts are ready to come to Serbia. We expect that our humble help and support will be of use in your fight against the virus," she said.
She also said that the situation in China is now under control, but that the fight against coronavirus is not over yet. According to her, there are more than 8,000 people in hospitals currently treated for the disease.
She also stated that the virus is the enemy of all humankind, and that is why it will take solidarity and responsibility of everyone around the world to defeat it.
"Steely friends, we share both good and evil. I firmly believe that with the efforts of all of us, our joint victory will surely come," she said.
