Photos of Serbia were used fo a national advertising campaign of the Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige, for this tourist season after Italy's exit from the blockade due to coronavirus, Italian media reported.

Two of the eight photos for the Trentino tourist campaign were taken in Serbia, and one of them is Oblacin Lake, which, as the portal trentotoday.it states, is "in the heart of the Balkans."

In addition to the disappointment of many in Trentino due to carelessness, this mistake prvoked strong violent reactions also because the photos are not exclusive but were taken from an online service and can be used in other campaigns as well.

"A new beginning of Trentino with pictures of Serbia" is the title of the article in the ildolomiti.it portal, which indicates a mistake in the campaign by which Lake Caldonaco was represented by a photograph of Oblacin Lake.

Local media point out that, despite the gaffe with two pictures from Serbia, the other six used in the advertising campaign were created in Trentino.
