Epidemiologist Darija Kisic Tepavcevic says that the possibility of limiting the work of nightclubs is being considered, because it turned out that nightlife is the biggest source of coronavirus. She said that Covid-19 patients are younger adults.

"What we should definitely think about and what we talked about, which will follow in some future period, is to limit the work of clubs, in order to reduce people staying out until the morning. This is unpopular, but must be done. It is the biggest hotbed of infection," Kisic told TV Pink.

She said that this is now the most common way of transmitting the infection while it is especially dangerous if younger people, who go to nightclubs, live with the chronically ill or the elderly.

"We can create a great tragedy in our homes with such behavior," she stressed.

Asked whether a state of emergency could be reintroduced, she said that it was necessary in the phase in which it was in force, in order to strengthen the healthcare system, and that now there is no need for that.

"We have now strengthened the healthcare system, we have laboratory and personnel capacities and we hope that we will never use them in full," she stated.

The doctor reiterated that effective measures include - social distancing, wearing masks indoors, and washing hands.
